Obituary
Ruth Ella (Whitbey) Brown, who resided in the Cox Valley community, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at her home. She was born August 1, 1962 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Kenneth H. Whitbey and Nadine (Dodson) Whitbey. She was 51 years old.
Ruth was a housewife and of the Presbyterian faith.
Cremation services are provided under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. No services are scheduled at this time.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Brown; two daughters, Kimberly Nicole McCubbin of New Blaine and Jessie Nicole Heydenreich of Magazine; one son, Patrick Whitbey of Ontario, Oregon; two sisters, Mary Ann Hamilton of Mansfield and Martha Brandenburg of Fayetteville; two brothers, Kenneth Whitbey of Ratcliff and Tommy Whitbey of Greenwood; seven grandchildren.
