Ruth Ann Inklebarger of Branch, Arkansas, died Friday, June 7, 2024, in the Heart of Hospice Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on May 26, 1961, in Truckee, California, to Bobby Joe French and Betty Ruth Davis French. She was 63 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Joe French; her mother, Betty Ruth Broggi; her first husband who died in 1989, DeWayne Shelton; a brother, Robert French; and an infant grandson, Chance Hertlein.

For around 25 years, Ruth Ann worked at Stark Manufacturing in Paris. She loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Rex Inklebarger; a daughter, Raven Hertlein and husband Randy of Subiaco; a son, Chris Shelton and wife Amber of Branch; a sister, Sylvia Childers and husband John of Midway; three brothers, David French and wife Robin and Billy French, all of Minnesota, and Kenny French of Kansas; her step-father, Orville Broggi of Paris; and five grandchildren, Jacob Shelton, Kristen Shelton, Carissa Shelton, Shawn Hertlein, and Ethan Hertlein.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11th at the funeral home in Charleston.

Ruth Ann will be buried along side of her first husband, DeWayne Shelton, at Patterson Cemetery District in Patterson, California, at 10:00 a.m., Graveside Service, Saturday, June 15th, under the direction of Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson, California.
