Ruth M. Hall, who resided in Cecil, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born December 15, 1936, in Brawley, California, to the late Enrique Montoya and Patricia (Gomez) Montoya. She was 81 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Avery Hall; a grandson, Keeton Turnbow; and a brother, Raul Montoya.

Ruth was a caretaker for the Cecil Youth Shelter in Cecil for many years, and early in life, she attended Branch First United Methodist Church.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 27th, at Cecil Cemetery in Cecil, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Due to Ruth's request, there will not be a viewing or a visitation at the funeral home.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruthie Kenner and husband Dale of Knoxville and Betsy Hall of Fort Smith; two sons, Henry Granillo of Cecil and Dave Hall and wife Carrie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four sisters, Rosario Frame of Coalinga, CA., Victoria Esquer of Coalinga, CA., Angelina Rosalis of Washington, and Mary Montoya of Santa Maria, CA. ; five brothers, Phillip Montoya of Coalinga, CA., Robert Montoya of Coalinga, CA., Oscar Montoya of Santa Rosa, CA., Leroy Montoya of Coalinga, CA., and Arthur Montoya of Washington; twelve grandchildren, Terri, Pamela, Jennifer, Amanda, April, Sasha, Santana, Heather, Jacqueline, Nick, Lane, and Levi; sixteen great-grandchildren.
