Russell Orville Weeks resided in Ozark, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009, at the Peachtree Palliative Care Unit in Fort Smith. He was born October 12, 1942 in Santa Paula, California to the late Russell Lemoine Weeks and Dorothy (Withrow) Weeks. He was 67 years old.

He was a retired crew boss for the Santa Paula Insectary and was a member of the Assembly of God.

The body was cremated under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29th, at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Gerald Morris.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Hobbs) Weeks, of the home; one step-daughter, Pauline Jones of Charleston; five step-sons, William Hale of Fort Smith, James Hale of Ozark, Preston Woods of Lawton, Oklahoma, Randall & Charles Woods of Weleetka, Oklahoma; three sisters, Joy Reynolds of Santa Paula, California, Carolyn McClain of Ozark and Donna Kuhn of Ventura, California; (18) step- grandchildren, (19) step-great grandchildren and numerous step great-great grandchildren.
