Roy G. Tittle, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 in Charleston. He was born October 27, 1951 in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Roy Jerome Tittle and Billie Jean (Lucas) Tittle. He was 61 years old.
Roy was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 700 and a horse farrier. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of Charleston Lodge #155, member of York Rite, and member of Grace Baptist Church near Lavaca.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2nd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Gary Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial with "Masonic Rites" will be at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, of the home; one daughter, Michelle Brown and husband Eric of Alma; two sons, Shane Tittle and wife Lisa of Claremore, Oklahoma and Justin Janes of Charleston; two brothers, Randy Tittle and wife Glenda of Springdale and Danny Tittle of Lavaca; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Irvin, Jim Fraley, Jason Smith, James Todd, Gary Rakin, Tony Moore, Stan Jones, and Jerry Brown.
Family visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Grace Baptist Church, located at 6102 Hwy. 96, east of Lavaca, will be serving lunch Wedneday at 11:30 a.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.
