Ross "Junior" Childress, who resided in Bonanza, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, in Fort Smith. He was born August 8, 1950, in Pocola, Oklahoma, to the late Louis D. and Ollie (Porter) Childress. He was 71 years old.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Glenda Sue Childress of the home; two step-sons, Doug Martin of Tulsa and Leslie Martin of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
