Rosendo Cruz (Julio) Galvez of Branch, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 31, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 1, 1962, in Cuba. He was 62 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glena, who passed away in 2007.

Julio, also known as "Crazy Cuban", worked several years for Correll, Inc. in Charleston, Tyson Foods in Clarksville, and the casino in Oklahoma. He also helped local construction workers and farmers. Julio would help anyone who needed help. He loved worshipping and attending First Baptist Church in Branch and he will be missed.

A public viewing will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 5th at Brown's Chapel Cemetery, located northeast of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tim Hobbs of Branch First Baptist Church.
