Ronnie Case Sampson, who resided near Lavaca, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 13, 2023, near Lavaca. He was born on January 23, 1956, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to the late Albert D. Sampson and Edna Pauline (Camp) Sampson. He was 67 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gary "Rusty" Sampson; and two brothers-in-law, Max Nason and Richard Slate.
Ronnie delivered newspapers for SWTR. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and was an avid Razorback fan. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 21st at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Richard Shotzman officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by two children, Kristi and David; two sisters, Linda Nason and Sheila Slate, both of Lavaca; a brother, Rick Sampson and wife Emily of Monette, Arkansas; his nieces and nephews, Kayla Dunmire (Jay), Jeremy Sampson, Kevin Nason, Jeff Sampson (Lauren), and RayAnn Wann (Eugene); great-nieces and nephews, Rusti Nason, Blake Werner, Tray Werner, Tyler Werner, Austin Walchli, Brayden Nason, TJ DuBetz, Luke Sampson, Ally Sampson, and Jack Sampson; and seven great-great-nieces and nephews, whom he dearly loved and enjoyed picking at them.
Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Sutherland, Shelly Johnson, and Steve Waldron.
