Ronald Nelson Mullis, who resided near Mulberry, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on September 6, 1943, in Hoisington, Kansas, to the late Oliver Nelson Mullis and Mary Ellen (Harrison) Mullis. He was 81 years old.

Ron was a retired machine operator in the steel industry and he served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived a daughter, Carrie Ann Cordova and husband Phil of Aurora, Colorado; two sons, Todd Mullis and wife Rachel of O'Fallon, Illinois, and Chad Mullis and wife Shannon of Clovis, California; four sisters, Shannon Bell, Tracy Kraft, Diana Blake, and Dixie Janow; two brothers, Clint Mullis and Travis Mullis; (9) grandchildren; and (6) great-grandchildren.
