Roger Wayne "Yogi" Johnson, 68, of Bonanza, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born June 26, 1953, in Fort Smith to William Thomas Johnson and Glenda Laverne (Kersh) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Johnson and a sister, Cynthia Johnson.

Yogi was a retired security officer for the state of Illinois and was an ordained minister.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cynthia (Swift) Johnson; his girls, Jessica Johnson of Florida, Emily Dickinson of New Mexico, Victoria Dobson and husband Samuel of Conway, Sara Gonzalez and husband Joel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Rachel Akins and wife Kim of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Glenda Burcham of Roland, Oklahoma; two sisters, Rhonda Smith and husband Jasper of Fort Smith and Julie Mills and husband Robert of Parks, Arkansas; three brothers, David Johnson and wife Sue of Hackett, Darren Johnson and wife Sandy of Gore, Oklahoma, and Wendell Johnson of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren.
