Obituary

Roger Lee VanCleave, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 29, 1951, in Charleston to the late Wallace Nathaniel "Hank" VanCleave and Audra Faye (Williams) VanCleave. He was 72 years old. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan VanCleave, and a sister, Virginia Brashears.

Roger was a 1970 graduate of Charleston High School and was a retired maintenance man at Tyson Foods, Inc.

He is survived by his son, Cody VanCleave and wife T.J of Charleston; two sisters, Linda Case and husband Ronnie of Charleston and Wilma Dow of Caulksville; five grandchildren, Zachary Wilson, Cody Lee VanCleave, Jr., Emmarissa VanCleave, Ian Lynch and wife Shellsea, and Megan Lynch; and one great-granddaughter, Alayna Lynch.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
