Dr. Roger Ray Bullington, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on June 17, 1960, in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ray "Bob" Bullington, a daughter, Christie Marie Bullington, a brother, Steven Bullington, and his training partner, Don Youngblood.

Dr. Bullington was owner and operator of Absolute Family Medical and Chiropractor in Fort Smith. He was a 1979 graduate of Charleston High School, and he served in the U.S. Air Force. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Chiropractic College in North Dakota. In addition, he earned his APRN Degree at St. Joseph College in Florida. Roger won Mr. Arkansas Body Builder and was state weight lifting and bench pressing champion. He loved his family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Bill Bullington officiating. Burial will follow, with military honors, at Nixon Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha (DeLozier) Bullington; two daughters, Stacy (Bullington) Adams and husband Shane of Lavaca and Cortney Bullington and husband Colby DeMato of Pocola, Oklahoma; a son, Christopher Bullington; his step-mother, Jackie Bullington of Charleston; two sisters, Lila Phillips and husband Al Stouffer of Watford City, North Dakota, and Shari DeLisse and husband Jon Stitt of Ohio; a brother, Greg Bullington and wife Suk Old of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Mason, Maddax, Riley, Aleena, and Marshall; and special people in Roger's life, Lauren (Bell) Carter and husband Garrett of Fort Smith, Raegan Hodnett, Khloe Tritt, and James Kenney and wife Elaine.

Pallbearers are Mason Walter, Shane Adams, Lance Clouse, Brett Guthrie, Ron Decker, Eric Woodard, Donnie Youngblood, Troy Watson, and Josh Parker.

Honorary pallbearers will be his uncles and and aunts, Bill and Evelyn Bullington, Ed and Karen Bullington, Dan and Jane Bullington, and John (Deceased) and Lenora Bullington.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10th at the funeral home.
