Roger Melvin Boatright, who resided in Central City, died Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Heart of Hospice Inpatient Unit in Fort Smith. He was born June 30, 1942, in Charleston, to the late Mervill Frances Boatright and Grace Autry Boatright. He was 77 years old. He as preceded in death by a brother, Darrel Dwain Boatright.

Roger was a retired bricklayer. He was an U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his companion, Kathy Crase of Central City; a daughter, Kelly Adkins of Clinton, Missouri; and one grandchild.
