Rodney Neal Ritter, who resided in Panama, Oklahoma, died Friday, September 2, 2022, at his home. He was born on September 7, 1962, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to the late Ike M. Ritter and Dortha N. (Clark) Ritter. In five days, he would have been 60 years old.

Rodney was a landscaper.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Penny Sue (Couch) Ritter; his children, Erica Ritter and Blake Ritter, both of the home; Mitchell Ritter and wife Cathy of Shady Point, Oklahoma, and Michael Couch and wife Rita of Virginia; a sister, Ranella Sumpter and husband Brad of Pocola; two brothers, Roger Dale Ritter of Poteau and Randall Allen Ritter and wife Lana of Panama; two grandchildren, Mitchell Williams and Damon Couch; and two great-granddaughters, Verina Green and Serenity Green.
