Robert Lee Williams, formerly of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 21, 1943, in Lavaca to the late James E. Williams and Jonnie (Douglas) Williams. He was 79 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gay Williams.

He was an employee of Baldor Electric.

Inurnment Graveside will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, October 28th at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, with Rev. Randy Moore officiating. Cremation under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by two daughters, Charlene Williams of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Betty Adams of Lavaca, Arkansas; a son, James E. Williams and wife Becky of Lavaca; three sisters, Joyce White of Lavaca, Shirley Reed of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Mary Rogers of Lavaca; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
