Robert Floyd White, II

Robert Floyd White, II of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away from this life on March 1, 2026, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on November 26, 1963, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Floyd Lester "Bob" White and Jewel Faye "Sammi" (Smith) White. He was 62 years old.

Robert was known for his exceptional gift in music. He was an extraordinary playing guitar. At a very young age Robert picked up the guitar and almost immediately became a natural. He began playing at the family business, the Crossroads in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 10 years old. He remained lead guitar player for the next 30 years as a part of the family band while also playing with his mother Sammi Smith. He became a fantastic musician and was well loved throughout the Fort Smith Music Community. He was a passionate carpenter who loved to create beautiful art with his hands, including being a part of multiple projects around the Fort Smith and Van Buren area. He was an animal lover, particularly wolves, but all animals loved him. He enjoyed horseback riding and worked the rodeo circuit posting flags with his mom and sister for many years. Those who knew Robert knew his clownish ways; he was well known for making people laugh. He was a free spirit who would jump at the chance to travel to a new place and experience something new. He lived life without limits.
