Robert Bertran Townsend, Jr., who resided in Hartford, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 4, 2021, near Hartford. He was born June 17, 1962, to the late Robert Bertran Townsend, Sr. and Tina Phelan Townsend. He was 58 years, 9 months, and 18 days old. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Freeman.

Robert was a retired electrical engineer while serving in the U.S. Air Force for over 30 years.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12th, at Abundant Life Fellowship at 4205 W. Highway 252 in Midland, with Bro. Eddie Kazy officiating.

He is survived by two daughters, Jessie Townsend of Illinois and Katie Watton of Montana; a son, Robert Townsend of Missouri; two sisters, Bobbie Bullard and Regina Rose; three brothers, Mike Townsend, Paul Dean Townsend and Pat Townsend.
