Robert Earl Strand, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston, Arkansas. He was born on June 9, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was 92 years old.  He was preceded in death by his wife and one son.

Robert was an U.S. Army veteran and a former Deputy Sheriff for Broward County, Florida.

He is survived by his friend and caregiver, Ruth Whisman of Paris; two sons, Stewart and Brian Strand, both of Florida; and one brother, Ronald Strand of Michigan.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Paris.
