Robert John Strack, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on October 15, 1928, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Frank Strack, Jr. and Frances Gertrude (Flavell) Strack. He was 93 years old. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doretha (Statham) Strack.

Robert served in the U.S. Army. He worked several years as the finance manager for Breeden-Nissan in Fort Smith.

He is survived by three daughters, Deb Trudell of Minnesota, Cynthia Strack of Alma, Arkansas, and Brooke Reeder of Fort Smith; four sons, Jeff Elseth and wife Janet of Oregon, Mark Schuettinger of Arizona, Marc Strack of Texas, and Nick Strack of Van Buren; a sister, Kathleen Kuenster of California; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
