Robert "Sheriff" Silva, Sr., who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Mercy in Fort Smith. He was born on September 4, 1950, in McNary, Arionza, to the late Herman Silva and Margaret (Domingez) Silva. He was 74 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Tony Silva, Frank Silva, and Rudy Hernandez; and a sister, Laura Rivas.

Robert worked in construction. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Leslie Silva; a daughter, Elaine Silva of Bakersfield, California; a son Robert Silva, Jr., of Reno, Nevada; two sisters, Agnes Alamillo and husband Dennis of Fillmore, California and Margie Lopez of Palmdale, California; and five brothers, Bill Silva and partner Charlie of New York, Henry Silva of California, Gabe Silva and wife Tina of Oklahoma, David Silva, and Joe Dominguez and wife Sylvia of California.

Family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
