Robert Lynn Rowton, Sr., of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on October 3, 1936, in Okesa, Oklahoma, to the late Robert Richard Rowton and Linnie (Stammer) Rowton. He was 85 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice (McClung) Rowton; a sister, Carolyn; and four brothers, Jim, Ray, Russ, and Tom.

Robert was owner & operator of Midwest Pool, Spa, & Fireplace, Inc. in Fort Smith and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Rowton, Jr. and wife Diane of Fort Worth, Texas, Dan Rowton and wife Penny of Fort Smith and Barry Rowton and wife Robbie of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
