Robert Eugene Putman, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, died Thursday, November 19, 2020, at his home. He was born August 17, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Elmer Gene Putman and Rosezell Higgins Putman. He was 62 years old. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Putman.

Robert was a self-employed concrete finisher. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and he enjoyed singing karaoke. Robert was a family man and loved his family very much. He will be missed.

A graveside memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 28th at 2:00 p.m., at Macadonia Cemetery, South of Uniontown.  Glen Putman will officiate the service.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laura Gay Fitzgerald Putman; two sisters, Diana Snow and Peggy Fontana, both of Missouri; a brother-in-law. Charles Fitzgerald and wife Tina of Van Buren; and several nieces and nephews.
