Robert Franklin McKee

Robert Franklin McKee of Barling, Arkansas, died Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on November 28, 1955, in Noel, Missouri, to the late Drury Franklin McKee and Wilma Louise (Colburn) McKee. He was 70 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant great-grandson, Riley.

For several years, Robert worked in sales at FleetPride in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, BruCinda (Langham) McKee; two daughters, Amy Lance and husband Eric of Pineville, Missouri, and Darla Burgener of Springdale, Arkansas; two sons, Robbie McKee and wife Carla of Pineville, Missouri, and Andy McKee and wife Maddie of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two step-daughters, Brandi McRorey and husband Jake of Lavaca, Arkansas, and Ashley Fry and husband Anthony of Bella Vista, Arkansas; a sister, Mary Shields and husband Larry of Southwest City, Missouri; a brother, Jim McKee and wife Kathy of Southwest, Missouri; (12) grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
