Robert Neal Herndon, Sr., who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Paris. He was born August 17, 1924 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Jachin Herndon and Nanny Ola (Taylor) Herndon. He was almost 91 years old. He was also preceded in death by two spouses, Jimmie Mae (Ford) Herndon and Norma Herndon; one daughter, Beneta Williams; one sister, Era Ola Buchanan; three brothers, James, Floyd, and Noel Herndon; one grandson, Timothy Herndon; and one great-grandson, Gavin Catoe.

Robert was a retired farmer and attended First Assembly of God in Paris.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11th, at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Kenny Maness.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Neal Herndon, Jr. of Paris, William Jachin Herndon of Panacea, Florida, and Harley Herndon and wife Patsy of Paris; (13) grandchildren, (15) great-grandchildren, and (8) great-great grandchildren.
