Robert Wayne Hendrix of Paris, Arkansas, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on October 11, 1974, in Fort Smith. He was 51 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, James Earl Hendrix.

Robert was also known as "Stretch" by many of his family and friends. He was a land agent for many years in the oil and gas industry, enjoyed going to car shows, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Disaster Relief Foundation. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 28th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. H.C. Varnadore officiating. Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Ferron) Hendrix; a daughter, Alisha Hendrix of Salina, Kansas; his mother and step-father, Cindy and Mike Thompson of Paris; and a brother, James Hendrix.
