Robert Theodore "Bob" Tripp, who resided near Magazine, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born April 25, 1945 in Lincoln, Kansas to the late William Theodore Tripp and Sylvia (Teach) Tripp. He was 72 years old. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Teach.
Robert was a retired insulator and was a member of Asbestos Worker's Union Local 27 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW in Moberly, Missouri, member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, and he was a Vietnam veteran.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. There are no services scheduled, but the family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, August 24th, at the funeral home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Tripp; three daughters, Staci Clemmer and husband, Don of Salina, Kansas, Gayla Sheppard and husband Randy of Magazine, and Anita Molton of Fort Smith; two sons, Wade Tripp and wife Tracy of Salina, Kansas and Shawn Davis of Ozark; three grandchildren, Avery Tripp, Tony Sheppard and wife Kristen and Marc Sheppard and four great-grandchildren, Keely, Remi, Piper and Barrett Sheppard.
