Robert Arthur Blair, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, died Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on August 26, 1939, in Pasadena, Texas, to the late George Henry Blair and Evelyn Ann (Lawrence) Blair. He was 83 years old. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Blair.

Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force. He worked in industrial construction and was a retired advanced pipefitter.

A memorial graveside service with Military Honors will be held at the Fort Smith National Cemetery on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

He is survived by a brother, George Blair; a sister, Sharon Shawkey; five step-children; and several nieces and nephews.
