Mr. R.M. Dooley resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born June 19, 1924 in Scranton, Arkansas to the late Roland Dooley and Anna (Partain) Dooley. He was 85 years old.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alene Miller and Kathy Dooley; two brothers, Bob Dooley and Arnold Dooley.
R.M. was a retired custodian for the Oroville School District in Oroville, Washington. He loved gardening and was of the Assembly of God faith.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 28th, at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Kenny Maness officiating. Interment will be at Horn Cemetery, south of Midway, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dana Dooley, of the home; one daughter, Terre Usher of Osoyoos, British Columbia; three sons, Caryl Dooley of Spokane, Washington, Charles Dooley of Clarkston, Washington, and Wendell Dooley of Wenatchee, Washington; one brother, Frank Dooley of Wenatchee, Washington; (8) grandchildren and (18) great grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
