Ricky Armell Robins of Lavaca, Arkansas, died Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on August 6, 1953, on Camp Chaffee near Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Bobby Joe Robins and Vieneda (Sharber) Robins. He was 71 years old.
Ricky lived in Chico, California from 1976 to 2020 when he retired as a locksmith and moved with his family to Arkansas.
He loves hunting, reading, studying God's word and watching his grandkids grow. He was a member of Lavaca First Baptist Church.
A family held memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30th at Lavaca First Baptist Church, with Pastor Steven Smithson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mandy (Adams) Robins; three sons, Luke Robins of Lavaca, Micah Robins and wife Katie of Lavaca, and John Robins and wife Kimie of Charleston; one sister, Neda Gibson and husband Mark of Charleston; four grandchildren, Olivia, Ellie, Ivy, and Jordyn, with one more on the way.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lavaca First Baptist Church Legacy Building Fund or Mission POW-MIA, an organization Rick was a founding member of.
