Ricky Leon Highfield, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born October 2, 1954, in Paris to the late A.C. Highfield and Helen Irene (Sikes) Highfield. He was 63 years old. He was also preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

Rick was a small engine mechanic before becoming disabled, and he had a special love for his dog, Jake.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10th, at House of Prayer Church, located west of Carbon City on Hwy. 22, with Rev. James Hice officiating. Burial of cremains will be at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by a sister, Neta Stinnett of Paris; a brother, Nick Highfield of Ratcliff; several nieces and nephews.
