Rickie Barlow Williams, who resided in the Slaytonville/Sugar Loaf Community, died Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on June 23, 1955, in Long Beach, California, to the late Duane Elmer Williams and Mary Jane (Barlow) Williams. He was 69 years old. Rickie was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and four sisters.

For over 30 years, Rickie was a forklift mechanic at Southern Steel and Wire in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his companion of 37 years, Margaret Williams; a step-son, Daniel Curry and wife Dana of Canton, Texas; two step-grandchildren, Nova and Daniel; his long-time friends, Mike and Karen Gipson of Mansfield; and his best friend Sammy, his dog.

There will not be a service.
