Rickie Dwain Griffin, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Monday, July 4, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on March 20, 1952, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to the late Jake Griffin and Elzie Salsbury Griffin. He was 70 years old. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Griffin; a sister, Dorothy Blankenship; and two brothers, Billy Joe Griffin and Jimmy Griffin.

Rickie was a retired hot shot truck driver.

He is survived by his companion, Deana Bratcher of Fort Smith; two sons, Kenny Griffin of Fort Smith and Richard Griffin of Cromwell, Indiana; two daughters. Kelley Katzer of Warsaw, Indiana, and Miranda Elkins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Cindy Gloyna of Houston, Texas; one brother, Mac Griffin of Fort Smith;and nine grandchildren.
