Rickey Howell Sosebee resided at Lavaca, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, November 25, 2008, in his home. He was born May 19, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Hartsell Udell Sosebee and Elizabeth Fern Brittain Sosebee. He was 55 years old.

Rickey was a self-employed construction worker, was an avid fisherman, and was a member of the Lavaca First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Larry Dale Sosebee and Lowell Britt Sosebee.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Lavaca, with burial at the Hickory Ridge Cemetery, northeast of Lavaca, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy, of the home; three sons, Terry, Clayton, and Steven, all of Lavaca; his father & mother, Hartsell & Fern Sosebee of Lavaca and five grandchildren.

Pall Bearers will be Mike Darnell, Rick Johnson, Harry Torres, J.C. Trotter, Don Stem, and Rob Thompson.

Family visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
