Richey Charles Williams, Sr., an United States Army veteran, who was born on October 29, 1953, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late R.B. Williams and Victoria Pauline (Berger) Williams, entered into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at his home. He was 67 years old.

Richey was a 1973 alumni of Charleston High, where he played guard for the high school football team. He had a love for music and enjoyed playing on his guitars. His curiosity of how things worked would often lead him to disassembling many electronics, some of which he successfully put back together. His younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Richey will be remembered for the love he held for his family and for others. He cared deeply for those closest to him and would help anyone he could, even if it meant he did without. He never met an animal that he didn't try to take in as his own.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 22nd, at Life Church in Charleston.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. (479) 965-8202.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Brown) Williams of Charleston; a daughter, Victoria Bolin and husband Kris of Crossett, Arkansas; three sons, Richey Williams, II of Fort Smith, Brock Williams of Van Buren, and Marvin Williams of Fort Smith; seven sisters, Barbara Dotson of Fort Smith, Ruby Thompson of St. Louis, Missouri, Etholia McCurry of Fort Smith, Sylvia Bell of Fort Smith, Fanney Wesley of Fort Smith, Mildred Jones of Charleston, and Mary Williams of Liberty, Kansas; a brother, Vircy Williams of Fort Smith; five grandchildren.
