Obituary

Richard Charles Walker, who resided in Caulksville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born October 21, 1924, in Audubon, Iowa to the late Earl J. Walker and Bell (Graham) Walker. He was 91 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beula (Hayes) Walker.

Richard was a retired Vice-President for American Chain & Cable Company. He was a WWII Navy veteran survivor of Pearl Harbor, and he was a mason and life-time member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his daughter, Enid Milks of Caulksville; his son, Brian Walker of Burlington, Iowa; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. There are no services scheduled.
