Richard Wayne Moore, 64, of Charleston, Arkansas, formerly of Paris, died Friday, December 24, 2021, in Charleston. He was born on July 3, 1957, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Charles Cecil Moore and Carolyn Pearl (Askins) Moore. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ray Moore.

Richard was a retired registered nurse, and was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.

He is survived by two sisters, Charlene Moore of Charleston and Elizabeth Horton of Dardanelle; two brothers, Thomas Moore and wife Mary of Charleston and Steve Moore and wife Theresa of Ozark; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7th at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Officiating the service will be Bro. Tim Hobbs of the First Baptist Church in Branch.

Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
