Reynolds Hugh Beckham, Jr., who resided in Dyer, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born April 16, 1960, in Monterey, California, to Reynolds Hugh Beckham, Sr. and Beverly Jean Dutra-Ferea Beckham. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Reynolds Hugh Beckham, Sr.; a brother, Robert Beckham; and a sister, Crystal McKee.

Reynolds was a welder and former welding instructor at the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith (UAFS), and he worked several years for Acme Industrial Company. He was a 1979 graduate of Alma High School, and served in the U.S. Navy. His biggest enjoyment was coaching softball and was softball coach of "The SLAMMER'S" and "BLU BY U" fastpitch softball teams. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A family-held memorial graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 10th, under the pavilion at Dyer Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty (Petryszak) Beckham; a daughter, Taylor Beckham of the home; a son, Reynolds Hugh Beckham, III of Little Rock; his mother, Beverly Beckham of Greenwood; two sisters, Cherree Phillips of Greenwood and Veronica Robins and husband Lonnie of Alma.
