IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rebecca Ann
Lensing
August 2, 1954 – February 5, 2026
Rebecca (Becky) Ann Lensing, age 71, of New Blaine, Arkansas, Went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2026. Becky was born on August 2, 1954, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Aaron Eugene Hurst and Lorene (Sherrell) Hurst. She lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and a deep love for family and people. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Larry Dean Hurst, Sr. and Michael Gene Hurst; her sister, Shelia Hurst; and nephew, John Andrew Hurst.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be Rev. Don Loveless.
She is survived by her sisters, Betty Pitts and Ann Morphis. Becky was the proud mother of Angie Carter and Jason Lensing. She was also a devoted grandmother to Lauren Farnam, Landon Carter, and Jake, Luke, and Jade Lensing, and a cherished great-grandmother to Jess Farnam. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Her family was her greatest joy, and she wore the title of "Nana" proudly-not only to her own family, but to anyone who needed love.
Becky graduated from beauty college and went on to work at "The Beauty Box" in Paris, and later at Four Season Beauty Shop in Subiaco. Through her work, she shared her creativity, talent, and warm spirit with everyone who sat in her chair. Becky was spunky, kind, and truly had a heart of gold. She never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel like family. Her hobbies included crafting of all kinds, writing poetry, and in her earlier years, songwriting-always finding ways to express the beauty she saw in the world.
Becky's faith in Jesus Christ guided her life and was reflected in her kindness, generosity, and love for others. Her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace, rejoicing in Heaven.
Rebecca Ann Lensing will be missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
