Obituary

Raymond Paul Watson of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on December 19, 1945, to the late Paul T. and Dora (Fox) Watson. He was 77 years old.

Raymond was a graduate of County Line High School, a painter/sheetrock finisher, and member of Branch Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Richardson.  Burial will follow at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Miller of Charleston and Carie Holloway and husband Del of Fort Smith; one son, Josh Watson of Charleston; two brothers, Ronald Dean Watson of Branch and Randy Watson and wife Joan of Paris; seven grandchildren, Thess Holloway, Marley Watson, Colton James, Jada Sims, Jerra Thomas, KaLee Greenwood, and Jennon Holloway; and one great-granddaughter, Eleanor Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Bob Yarberry, Karl Potts, Randy Bottoms, Josh Watson, Del Holloway, Thess Holloway, Jeremy Thomas, and Chad Greenwood.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
