Obituary

Raymond F. Mantooth, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born August 16, 1931, in Franklin County near Charleston to the late Luther Mantooth and Faye (Bumpers) Mantooth. He was 85 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Reba Mantooth; his sister, Leola Williams and brother, Carl Mantooth.

Raymond was a cattle rancher. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and he was a member of Vesta Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. John Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith Williams, Jim Anderson, Bobby Neissl, Daniel Little, Steven Little, and Mike Little.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Williams, James Robert Lewis, Mike Smith, and Dwight Mantooth.
