Raymond Guy Coady of Fort Smith, Arkansas, lost his battle with liver disease, Friday, December 4, 2009, in a local hospital. He was born January 6, 1953 in Richmond, California to Robert Guy Coady and to the late Beverly Yuvonne (Cargill) Coady. He was 56 years old.
He was of the Christian Faith. He was the former owner of "The Rib Shack" and graduated from Southside High School in 1971. Before his sickness, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating and loved the Blues.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois and Tommy Henderson.
The body was cremated under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13th at "The Rib Shack" in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his father, Robert "Bob" Coady of Fort Smith; his sister, Cindy Welliver & husband Jimmy, of Fort Smith; one daughter, Hope Lindsey & husband Sean, of Alma; one son, Jay Coady & wife Carrie, of Arkoma; one niece, Sara Becker & husband Lance, of Alma and three grandchildren, Noah, Morgan, and Charro.
