Randal Dean Caples

Randal Dean Caples of Greenwood, Arkansas, formerly of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Friday, May 29, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on March 18, 1966, in Bono, Arkansas, to the late Jerry Dean Caples and Shirley Faye (Collins) Caples. He was 60 years old.

For several years, Randal was a machine operator for Arklahoma Pipeline Inc. in Van Buren. He enjoyed collecting knives, hunting, and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Caples and wife Jaleigh of Greenwood; his daughter, Brittany Marshall and husband Tucker of Charleston; a sister, Brenda Pointer of Jonesboro; a brother, Robby Polsgrove and wife Kimberly of Bay, Arkansas; and a granddaughter, Jeanie Grace Marshall.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
