Prudence Marlene Baldwin, who resided in Vian, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born on June 2, 1951, in Hillsdale, Michigan to the late Robert Estel and Marcile Carpenter. She was 70 years old.

Her battle with serious medical issues showed her courage in facing life's challenges with a smile.  Despite the pain, she came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, playing board games and spending time with her loved one.  Her cheerful attitude, loving heart and bright smile will be missed by many, but she is home now.

She is survived by two sons, Deric Baldwin of Lequire, Oklahoma and Shawn Austin of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one daughter Jennifer Byers and husband Aaron of Vian; five brothers, Frank, Bob and Tony Estel, Dale Boughmen; one sister, Debbie Estel of Michigan and ten grandchildren.
