Pong Suk Taggart of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Mercy in Paris. She was born on September 19, 1941, in Seoul, Korea, to the late Yun Chil Yi and Jung Kim. She was 83 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Taggart; a daughter, Michelle Dillard of Mesa, Arizona; a son, Mike Taggart and wife Sandy of Lavaca; (14) grandchildren, Maegan Riley and husband Ethan, Mason Pipes and wife Brittany, Laney Ellison and husband Cole; Christian Taggart and wife Arianna, Tate Dillard, Laura Melton and husband Jared, Joshua Taggart, Chloe Dillard, Jesse Taggart and wife Zoe, Mallory Taggart; Zeke Taggart, Waylon Taggart, and Bennett Taggart; and six great-grandchildren, Xanon Coats, Brycen Riley, Lochlan Riley, Kyron Riey, Henry Ellison, and Benjamin Ellison.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
