Phyllis Jean Roberds of Charleston, Arkansas, died Sunday, November 26, 2023, at her home. She was born on September 1, 1957, in Lavaca, Arkansas, to the late Douglas Roberds and Ida Luease (Harris) Parker. She was 66 years old. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Daniel Paul Standifer; two sisters, Dorothy Sisk and Carol Law; and two brothers, Grady Roberds and Larry Roberds.

For many years, Phyllis was a CNA and private caregiver. In her younger years, she worked as a waitress and a bartender. She was happy to finally be retired.

She is survived by three daughters, Ola Christine Roberds (Christi) of Bloomer, Angela Surratt and husband Michael of Fabens, Texas, and Shelby Standifer of El Paso, Texas; two sons, Richard McCaffrey Jr. and wife April of Odessa, Texas, and Joseph Law of Charleston; two sisters, Betty Atchison and husband Barry of Fort Smith and Tonya Thompson of College Station, Texas; seven  grandchildren, Logan, Lauren, Colton, Jaycee, Erin, Jaidyn, and Hunter; and one great-grandchild.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
