Obituary

Pearline Meeker, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born January 5, 1940, in Hugo, Oklahoma, to the late Robert Tucker and Mae Paulson Tucker. She was 81 years old. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene Hudson and Jim Meeker; a son, Michael Wayne Hudson; and a brother, Robert Henry Tucker.

Pearline worked and was still employed at Klein Tools in Fort Smith. She worked many years as a seamstress at Lady Fair Mills, Inc. near Ratcliff and was a faithful member of Life Church in Charleston. Pearline had a big heart and was a giver to many different organizations. She loved her family and church family very much, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 17th, at Life Church in Charleston, with Pastor Terry Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Mooney and husband Bill of Orange, Texas; a sister, Pauline Denton of Texas; five grandchildren, Lisa Pittman, Laura Wilson, Amanda Moss, Brian Hudson, and Brandon Hudson; ten great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jerry Rainwater, Pierre Guenette, Harold Scott, Dennis Rogers, Tony Stimac, and David Rice.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
