Paula Sue Marten, who resided in Poteau, Oklahoma, died Monday, October 19, 2020, in Fort Smith. She was born February 19, 1952, in Picher, Oklahoma, to the late Carthel Dewey Witham and Mabel Edith (Hogland) Witham. She was 68 years old.

Paula was a homemaker.  She enjoyed rescuing animals, especially cats and loved her grandchildren dearly.

She is survived by her children, John Jones, Jr. and wife Michelle, Charles Jones and wife Ethel, and Paulline Jones all of Missouri and Samantha Stewart and husband, Robert of Poteau; a brother, J. D. Witham; three sisters, Wanda Drake, Joanna Morgan and Edith Morgan all of Missouri; nine grandchildren, Crischna Long, Courtney and Caitlynn Jones, Danica McHolland, Caley & Steven Crump, Tabitha and Sara Jones and four great-grandchildren, Kyla, James, Aria and Kearyana.

Memorial Service will be held at Poteau Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 24, 2020 with a potluck lunch to follow.
