Patsy R. Masterson, 72, of Lavaca died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born Nov. 30, 1934, in Lavaca. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with burial at Garden of Memories in Charleston. Officiating the funeral service will be the Rev. Curtis Smithson.

She is survived by her husband, James Masterson of the home; two cousins, Zeta Smith and Madaline Santos, both of Fort Smith; two nieces, Debbie Clagg and Whitney Hobbs, both of Charleston; three nephews, James Hobbs, Steve Hobbs and Gage Clagg, all of Charleston; one uncle, John B. Hobbs of Lavaca; and one sister-in-law, Shelby Hobbs of Lavaca.

Pallbearers: Steve Hobbs, Johnny Lee Hobbs, Kenny Hobbs, Ike Hobbs, Richard Hobbs and David Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews and cousins.
