Patsy Ruth Knight, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Charleston, Arkansas. She was born August 31, 1939 in Independence County, Arkansas to the late William T. Phillips and Hazel E. (Long) Phillips. She was 75 years old. She was also preceded in death by her son, Joe Knight; two sisters, Georgiana West and Sue McAfee; and two brothers, Grisham and Bob Phillips.

Patsy was a retired waitress and caregiver.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Knight of Garden Grove, California; two sisters, Van Bazile and husband Lee of North Jefferson, North Carolina and Geraldine Kaden of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Gene Phillips and wife Janice of Charleston and Max Phillips and wife Gerry of Batesville, Arkansas; one grandson, Joshua.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

There will be a family held memorial service at a later date.
