Patsy Ruth Gibson, who resided near Caulksville, died Thursday, December 26, 2019, at her home. She was born March 10, 1941, in Paris, to the late J.C. Spain and Alice Krigbaum Spain. She was 78 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Marvin Gibson.

Patsy was a retired cook for County Line Public School System. She was a County Line graduate and member of Pentecostal Church of Paris.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 30th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by two daughters, Lawanna Moon and husband Rick of Caulksville and Penny Stovall and husband Billy of Fayetteville; a step-daughter, Christine Albert and husband Pascal of France; a brother, Hester Spain of Caulksville; seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Joey Stovall, Jason Stovall, Billy C. Stovall, Scott Vanderver, Miguel Guadarrama, and Rusty Helms.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Charleston.
